Ever had a situation where you wish you could simply change a particular piece of text, html or javascript code that you placed in your posts? Well, if you did it the old way, you would have to go through all your posts and edit them one by one.
Those days are over with GYS PowerTags 1.0 – the plugin that makes it easy to stick-in repetitive code to your posts and pages. GYS PowerTags 1.0 allows you to define “PowerTags” and there accompanying values. With this plugin, you can simply create a tag called “TopAdsense” and assign a particular Adsense code to it then just stick in the power tag to any post where you want that Adsense code to appear.
But it doesn’t end there. GYS PowerTags allows you to specify a “content layout”. Do you want Adsense on top of all your posts (new and old) and affiliate banners at the bottom? GYS PowerTags will let you do that. Want to change the layout? No problem, just edit in the GYS PowerTags settings page and all your posts and pages are magically updated.
Then there’s “default content” that allows you to specify the default text when you write a new post or page – a feature that helps a lot if you suddenly find yourself in a situation where you want to include some repetitive text (i.e. disclaimer, promo, etc) for your new posts.
